A blind dating event should feel curious and exciting, with clear boundaries and real support. Our events are for adults aged 18 and over. These rules apply to participants, hosts and attendants throughout the event.
Respect and consent
Be courteous and treat every participant with dignity. Consent must be freely given, specific and ongoing. Do not pressure anyone to continue a conversation, explain a decision, exchange contact details, remove a blindfold, or accept physical contact. No touching or recording another participant without their explicit consent. Slurs, harassment, threats, discrimination, stalking, coercion and retaliation are not allowed.
Stop signal and leaving
Blindfolds are optional. Either person may raise the red flag or use the announced stop signal at any time. A stop signal means stop immediately; an attendant will help conclude the conversation. No explanation is required and there is no financial penalty. You may decline any pairing, take a break or leave the event at any time.
Conversation chances at the event
Women participants may request additional conversation opportunities for as long as they wish during the event, subject to available time, safe event operations and compatible participants who also wish to take part. Men participants are offered up to two conversation opportunities per event. If a man would like another opportunity after those two, he is welcome to attend a future event. These opportunity limits never require anyone to continue a conversation: every participant can decline or stop any conversation immediately, and a match is never guaranteed.
Additional opportunities are not promised pairings. They depend on event capacity, the schedule, mutual preferences and the other participant's consent. Organizers may adjust availability to keep the event safe, fair and on schedule.
Hosted and supervised
Trained attendants are present. Follow host instructions, stay in designated event areas, and do not consume or bring illegal substances. Do not attend if you are unable to participate safely. If you signal to stop, an attendant will help end the interaction. Report discomfort, harassment or an emergency to the event supervisor. For immediate danger, contact local emergency services.
Privacy and mutual consent
Keep other participants' identity and stories private. Do not take photos, screenshots, audio or video of participants or conversations. Profile photos are private by default. We do not record conversations, use facial recognition, or infer sensitive traits. Rejections and private questionnaire answers are not shared. Contact details are shared only if both participants separately opt in, and consent can be withdrawn before details are exchanged.
Verification and reporting
Age and identity checks may be completed by event staff or a secure verification provider before attendance. Never send identity documents through email or public forms. Report rule violations to an attendant or event supervisor. Reports are restricted to authorized safety staff and retained only as long as needed for safety and legal obligations. Organizers may separate participants, end a conversation, remove a person from an event, decline a future booking or contact emergency services when needed to protect safety.
Before you book
Read the event-specific venue, accessibility, cancellation and refund information before payment. Do not share another participant's personal information, follow them after an event, or contact them through details they have not chosen to share. Our participant code of conduct prohibits harassment, coercion and retaliation.
